A Slow Return to Yourself
If you’re looking for a calming, grounding way to reset after Christmas in Crickhowell, this gentle Post-Christmas Yin Yoga and Sound Bath is designed to bring you back into your body — slowly, warmly, and without overwhelm.
On Sunday 28th December from 1:30–3:30pm, I’ll be guiding a deeply restorative session at 32 High Street, Crickhowell, blending Yin Yoga, sound healing, mantra, mudra, and a quiet ritual with herbal tea. It’s ideal for anyone in the Crickhowell, Abergavenny, Brecon, or Llangattock area who wants to soften, breathe, and start the New Year from a centred place.

Why Post-Christmas Yin Yoga in Crickhowell?
The days after Christmas can bring a mix of tiredness, fullness, emotion, and the quiet desire to return to ourselves. Yin Yoga offers a slow, steady container for that return.
This session is perfect for locals wanting a peaceful way to move, stretch, and release tension before entering the New Year.
Crickhowell is already known for its peaceful landscape — foggy hilltops, river paths, a community that moves at its own pace — and Yin practice fits beautifully into the rhythm of this town.
A Practice for Containment + Ignition
This workshop is inspired by the transition between the Snake year and the approaching Fire Horse year in Chinese astrology — a moment of shedding old skin while preparing for new energy.
But we do this softly.
Gently.
So that the power rises from the belly — not from stress, pressure, or pushing.
What You Can Expect
Each element is chosen to support grounding, restoration, and slow awakening:
- Yin Yoga: slow, deep, honey-like movement
- Mudras & Mantras: supporting containment, grounding, and fire activation
- Sound Bath: Tibetan bowls, gong, drum, flute, chimes, and voice
- Herbal Tea Ritual: to seal the practice gently
You’ll leave feeling open, steady, warm, and recalibrated — a beautiful way to end the year in Crickhowell.

Who Is This Workshop For?
This is for you if you live in or near:
- Crickhowell
- Abergavenny
- Llangattock
- Gilwern
- Brecon

… and you’re seeking a quiet space to decompress after Christmas and nourish your body before January begins.
